Chelsea have confirmed 908 fans will not be able to attend the Premier League opener against Crystal Palace.
The Premier League season opener was the first competitive fixture for Chelsea fans to attend in full capacity in over 17 months.
However, 908 match-going fans will have to wait a little more for their turn to enter the stadium. The seats to accommodate the supporters are not ready, and thus 298 seats in Block 8/9 and 610 seats in Block 16 of the Matthew Harding Lower will not be available.
The Champions League winners have revealed the affected seats are not fully installed and are unsafe for fans to use. The affected members are set to be handed a refund and compensated for their pre-booked travel too.
Chelsea will be also be handing the affected members a complimentary ticket for one of three Champions League home fixtures in the group stage.
