Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has reportedly drawn up a five-man shortlist for the summer which includes Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku and Tottenham Hotspur hitman Harry Kane.
According to the Telegraph, Chelsea are ready to splash the cash in the off-season as they look to build on their Champions League success. The report states that Tuchel could be handed a budget of up to £200m for new signings.
The other names on Chelsea’s wishlist are Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore, Borussia Monchengladbach’s Jonas Hofmann and AS Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.
The Blues struggled to find the net on a consistent basis last season, with Timo Werner, in particular, coming under scrutiny following his big-money move from RB Leipzig. The arrival of Kane or Lukaku would be certain to solve their woes in front of goal.
Tchouameni is being looked at as an alternative to West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice, while Traore is on Chelsea’s radar given his versatility,
