Jose Mourinho has taken his frustration out once again but this time,
“I don’t want to update you, I would like Arsenal TV to ask the same questions but they don’t, they hide everything from the inside, so why should I answer to you,” he said.
Reports suggest that United will be without a central defender for their match vs Arsenal. Phil Jones was the last fit defender in the squad but he too has now been ruled out of the game.
“We are going to be in difficulty again to build the team. We are again going to have to make adaptations and compensations to try to give some balance to the team.”
“But then I believe we are again going to have the spirit to fight and to try to win the match.” added the manager.
Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly and Matteo Darmian were not in the squad for the draw vs Southampton. Luke Shaw and Phil Jones, who started the game, picked up injuries during the match and are now doubtful for the Arsenal match.
Adding to the manager’s frustration, Marcos Rashford, who single-handedly turned the game around for the Red Devils at St Mary’s, is also said to be out of the Arsenal game. Romelu Lukaku tripped on the ball during the Saints game and picked up an injury as well.
United go into the game sitting 7th in the Premier League table – 8 points behind their opponents, Arsenal.
