FC Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele has emerged a top transfer target for Manchester United and Juventus with both clubs expected to compete for the Frenchman’s signature.
The 23 year old winger completed a sensational move to Catalans from Dortmund for €145 million becoming the joint second-most expensive player along with French teammate Paul Pogba. However, Dembele has failed to live up to the expectations and has been on the sidelines since joining Barca.
Manchester United was interested in signing Dembele on a loan last summer, with an option to buy, was well-publicized and the 20-time Premier League Champions have been eager to land him. Negotiations between both clubs collapsed on the deadline day as Dembele was expected to sign for The Red Devils.
Meanwhile, Juventus have also expressed their desire to sign the 23 year old winger and reportedly enquired about him last summer with the players speed to be a major attraction for the Turin giants.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool and PSG are also interested in signing Dembele despite Manchester United and Juventus emerging as favourites as it is expected to be a four-way battle to sign the French winger.
Dembele is enjoying a rich vein of form under new boss Ronald Koeman and has notched up nine goals and teed up four more this campaign.
