The Red Devils are reportedly close to signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund as their first deal in the transfer window before the start of European Championship this summer.
According to the dailystar, the 20-time Premier League Champions have mostly agreed on personal terms with Sancho as the German outfit await an official bid from the Red Devils.
The 21-year old wonder kid was United’s top transfer target and the Red Devils tried and failed to sign Sancho last summer as the Red Devils refused to pay his £108million asking price. The Premier League runners-up see Sancho as an ideal right-winger and will be hoping to sign him to provide competition for Mason Greenwood.
BVB have now reportedly lowered their asking price significantly are said to accept a fee in the region of £80m. It is also understood that United are willing to pay that fee and the interest in a transfer is mutual between both parties.
Apart from Sancho, United have been linked with Erling Haaland and Harry Kane as the Red Devils are keen on signing a star studded striker despite extending Edinson Cavani’s contract.
United are currently the favourites to sign Sancho and will be hoping to secure his signature after failing to bring him to Old Trafford last campaign.
