Manchester United are reportedly willing to include Donny Van de Beek in a swap deal for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot. The Red Devils are keen on adding a box-to-box midfielder and are hoping to land the former PSG midfielder’s signature at the end of the campaign.
According to the Express, Manchester United prevented Van de Beek from leaving on loan in January as they did not want to weaken their side during a busy part of the season. But it is evident he does not fit into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s long-term plans and could be shown the door this summer.
Rabiot joined Juventus on a free transfer and went on to win the Scudetto under Maurizio Sarri. His strong performances have made him a target for the Red Devils.
Meanwhile, Van de Beek has struggled to make an impact since his move from Ajax and the Dutchman has been used sparingly in the Premier League by Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer. However, he has been a regular in the Europa League this season.
Juventus have been keen on signing the Dutchman ever since his impressive display against them in the 2018/19 Champions League quarter-finals.
