Dean Henderson has warned his parent club Manchester United that he could be on his way out of Old Trafford if his demands are not met.
The young shot-stopper recently penned a five-year deal worth £120,000 per week and earned a call-up to the English squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League.
After an impressive spell in Sheffield United last season, Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer brought back the 23-year-old to give competition to out of form De Gea.
However, Henderson revealed that he would depart the Theatre Of Dreams for seeking first-team opportunities if he is not the first choice keeper. He also refused to sit on the bench.
The English keeper revealed his admiration of De Gea’s contributions for the club but has also set his hearts on replacing the former Atletico Madrid man as the number one shot-stopper.
According to DailyMail, the former Blades man has also set his sights on becoming England’s first-choice keeper ahead of Pickford with Nick Pope emerging as the favourites.
