Real Madrid set price for Arsenal target

The 13-time Champions League winners have reportedly valued €60M in the transfer market for Martin Odegaard who currently on loan for Arsenal.

According to defensacentral, the Gunner’s main transfer priorities this summer, in terms of incomings, is to sign a creative midfielder and their first-choice option is to bring the Norway international following an impressive spell.

It is understood that Arsenal are expected to revamp their whole squad following a disappointing campaign and it is reported that there have been talks of Bellerin, Xhaka, Torreira and Guendouzi will be leaving the Emirates.

Following his loan move to the Emirates, the Norway international has been impressive for the club prompting Arsenal to sign him on a permanent basis. Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has made no secret desire to bring Odegaard to North London although it is quiet clear that talks with Real Madrid are planned in the coming weeks.

Apart from Odegaard, the Gunners have been linked with Emiliano Buendia as an alternative should they fail to land the Norwegian playmaker.

However, the Gunners are expected face complications in signing Odegaard as Los Blancos recently parted ways with Zinedine Zidane which means that the final decision on the midfielders future will be made by the new manager.
