Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi has emerged as a shock target for Lazio and Napoli and could be on his way to Italy after spending four seasons in Emirates.
Since joining Arsenal from Valencia in 2016 for an estimated fee of 35 million pounds, the defender has come under criticism for his performances.
According to the Sun, the former Valencia man could be sold for a price of 13 million Pounds. It is also stated that the price could even drop to 11 million Pounds.
Napoli’s manager Gennaro Gattuso is interested in signing the world cup winner as a potential replacement for Manchester City target Kalidou Koulibaly.
He previously played for Sampdoria between 2012-14. With the addition of Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba, it is expected that the German defender would be limited to first-team opportunities.
The 28-year-old center-back was part of the Gunners squad that won the FA Cup in 2017 and 2020 and was also a member of Joachim Loew’s squad that lifted the Fifa World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
